Gavin Insley and Mika Nash first met whilst studying Fashion Design at Ravensbourne. Both Gavin and Mika graduated and went on to explore separate career paths, Gavin as a print technician and trend forecaster and Mika as a screen printer for acclaimed designer Zandra Rhodes.
Five years later in 2010 the forward thinking duo noticed a gap in the market for a London based textile house that could design and create innovative luxury textiles.
Experimenting with metallic inks, foiling and devore (creating a pattern by burning the pile with acid) Insley & Nash quickly grew, securing contracts with high end clients including L’Oreal, fashion designer Giles Deacon, Kensington Palace and Disney. Most recently the bespoke textile makers ventured into the interiors world and produced two bespoke fabric designs for Royal Warrant holders, Hypnos beds. This exciting endeavour has led to a new enterprise and 2018 will see the launch of the first Insley & Nash interiors collection.
